3rd International BORDA BNS Workshop "Climate and Development"

From the 5th to 6th of December 2007 the 3rd International BORDA Basic Needs Services (BNS) Workshop titled "Climate and Development" was held in Bremen.

“Are poverty reduction and climate protection compatible? Or does the high priority attached to climate protection rather hinder forward-looking development policies? Are there any innovative approaches that show potential to address both issues positively? Are current climate change related investments reaching the poor? Can poverty reduction programmes contribute to world climate protection?”
